The Housekeeping Executive at Hilton is responsible for overseeing and managing the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities in compliance with the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. They will lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
2. Train and supervise housekeeping staff in proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
3. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards.
4. Schedule and assign daily cleaning tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of duties.
5. Monitor and control inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels and efficient usage.
6. Manage budgets and expenses related to housekeeping operations, ensuring cost-effective practices are in place.
7. Respond to guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping services, seeking prompt resolution and feedback for continuous improvement.
8. Collaborate with other departments such as Front Office and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
9. Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in all housekeeping activities to maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management to continually enhance service quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a housekeeping management role within the hospitality industry.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team of housekeeping staff.
3. Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
4. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products used in the hospitality industry.
5. Familiarity with health and safety regulations pertaining to housekeeping operations.
6. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and housekeeping management software.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
8. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
Preferred Skills:
1. Certification in Housekeeping Management or related field.
2. Multilingual skills for effective communication with international guests.
3. Experience working in a luxury hotel brand or similar high-end hospitality establishment.
Work Environment:
The Housekeeping Executive will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring the ability to multitask and thrive under pressure. They will be based in the hotel premises, overseeing housekeeping operations across all areas of the property. The role may involve walking, standing, and lifting objects of up to 25 pounds.
