K.R. Mangalam University is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Housekeeping Incharge. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and organization of all campus facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness throughout the campus
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule cleaning activities and ensure minimal disruption to daily operations
- Respond to cleaning emergencies or special requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and inventory levels
- Enforce safety regulations and best practices to create a safe working environment for housekeeping staff

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in housekeeping or facilities management is preferred
- Proven experience in a housekeeping or janitorial role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and materials
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with budget management and cost control
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to housekeeping
- Familiarity with campus facilities or large-scale cleaning operations
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers
- Familiarity with computer programs for scheduling, inventory management, and record-keeping

Work Environment or Location:

The Housekeeping Incharge will be based at K.R. Mangalam University's campus in Gurugram, Haryana.
