Agoda is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our data science team as Lead DS based in Bangkok. In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decisions and strategies to optimize our business operations and customer experiences. We offer relocation packages for qualified candidates who are not currently based in Bangkok.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of data scientists to drive impactful projects that deliver tangible business results
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges, develop analytical solutions, and present actionable insights to stakeholders
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to improve product performance and user experience
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Build and maintain data pipelines, processes, and workflows to ensure high-quality data availability for analysis
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models and solutions into production environments
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and technologies in data science and machine learning

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven experience in leading and managing data science teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analytics
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the e-commerce, travel, or hospitality industry
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and experimentation frameworks
- Certifications in data science, machine learning, or related fields
