The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while meeting all safety and quality standards. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with architects, construction workers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are executed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, design, and supervise construction projects such as buildings, bridges, roads, and utilities
- Conduct site surveys and investigations to determine project feasibility and requirements
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and standards
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to coordinate project activities
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project goals are met
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications
- Prepare and review project reports, drawings, and other documents

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in civil engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with project management software
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices
- Familiarity with building codes and zoning laws
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with geotechnical engineering principles

Work Environment:

The Civil Engineer will work primarily in an office setting, but may also spend time at construction sites overseeing projects. The work environment may be fast-paced and require the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The role may involve occasional travel to project sites or meetings with clients or stakeholders. The Civil Engineer will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality construction projects.
