Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant role is a pivotal position within our financial division, offering an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to grow their career. The primary responsibilities of the Junior Accountant include accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting the accounting team in various projects.

Duties and responsibilities encompass:
- Recording daily transactions, ensuring that all financial activities are accurately and comprehensively documented
- Preparing journal entries and posting transactions
- Maintaining general ledger accounts and conducting periodic reconciling of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and related reports
- Performing monthly and year-end closings
- Supporting the audit process by preparing required schedules and providing necessary documentation
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial transactions
- Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures

Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, along with a current CPA license or formal plans to obtain one. Candidates should have a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and a strong proficiency in accounting software, with a preferred experience using Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems.

Successful candidates will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a keen ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Additionally, they should have clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
