Public Relations Assistant

The Public Relations Assistant will support the overall strategic communication efforts of the organization, playing a vital role in enhancing its public image and reputation. The key responsibilities of this role include drafting compelling press releases, media pitches, and social media content to engage effectively with various stakeholders. You will build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry media outlets, fostering a positive image for the organization. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience. Excellent writing skills, demonstrated through strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation, are essential. Familiarity with social media platforms, media databases, and PR software is required. Experience in a PR role, preferably within a fast-paced environment, is highly desirable.
