Role: Video Editor

The Video Editor role encompasses the creation and production of high-quality and engaging video content for various platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, editing, and finalizing videos in line with the brand's vision, style, and voice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Edit and assemble video footage, creating a polished and compelling final product. This includes trimming, arranging, and modifying footage to tell a cohesive story.
2. Ensure a consistent visual and audio experience across all videos, through color correction, sound editing, and the application of effects.
3. Collaborate with content creative teams and key personnel to brainstorm ideas and present concepts for potential video projects.
4. Stay current with the latest video editing software, tools, and industry trends to integrate new techniques into the workflow and continually improve the quality of work.
5. Manage the post-production process, including organizing and conversion of media assets, archiving finished projects, and maintaining a backup system for video assets.
6. Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring the delivery of all required materials in a timely manner.
7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, gaining insights on preferred video styles and content, and sharing progress updates throughout the production process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of video editing experience in a professional setting, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in storytelling and technical skills.
3. Expert proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects, as well as audio editing software like Audition or Pro Tools.
4. A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
7. A passion for visual storytelling and staying up-to-date on industry trends.
